Your Photo Coach: Janet Steiner Roberts has been a professional photographer, business owner, and resident of Fort Bend County for over 25 years. She is Past President of the Professional Photographers Guild of Houston, Certified Professional Photographer and Photographic Craftsman. Janet has received numerous awards and merits for photography, presentations to other professionals and writing. Her articles have been published in Rangefinder Magazine, The Professional Photographer, Southwest Professional Photographer and she is past editor of The Viewfinder, the Houston Guild newsletter. For ten years Janet owned Expressions Photography, which specialized in private schools and seasonal events. She has owned Roberts Photography for over twenty years and was in a Fort Bend County retail location for fifteen of those years. For the last few years her portrait niche has been "location only" family portraits. Janet now limits the number of portrait sessions to allow time for another passion, teaching and consulting. She offers photographic instruction and consultation for amateur and professional photographers, corporate communicators and entrepreneurs through her new division YourPhotoCoach.com.

I am so glad to know that you are still teaching photography. The class I took from you concerning photography for portrait artists was very helpful and practical. I also think these kinds of classes are a very valuable tool for any artist that finds themselves working out compositions from their own photography whether it be portraiture, still life, or landscape.
